The ROI on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

  • Can you make money with sustainability? How would you calculate it?

  • Learn how to calculate the Return on Investment (ROI) for any Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) idea and be able to present it to your CFO.

  • Learn how to prove that CSR is good for business.

  • Want to change the world and be able to show investors that your idea is solid?

This is the course for you.

This track teaches the process to identify, quantify and present CSR ideas by examining CSR examples.

We will learn how to do research about successful programs executed by other companies,

manage a start-up devoted to it, and present it to a global company.

A crucial part of this program is field research. Students will be trained on how to do it

in their local city and collaborate with others globally.

After the fourth session, students will learn how to create and manage their CSR ideas,

which they will present at the end of the course to invited guests.

The program is not meant to use a "lecture" format, but rather to train participants on

how to use existing resources to execute their own ideas.

The course features a series of senior guest speakers from IBM, who will share how

they make those decisions in real life.

You will walk away with:

  • The ability to quantify operational cost savings (e.g., waste), brand image, and reputational impact on sales, company valuation as well as employee motivation and retention

  • Hands-on experience fostering idea generation, quantifying the impact of your ideas, and presenting it to others.

  • A certification process that will enhance your academic and labor credentials. In most cases, companies refund employees for these sessions as part of their training budget.

  • One-on-one sessions with global executives.

Ideal for:

  • Professionals working in Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Human Resources, Development or Management, who want to advance their careers and be able to implement CSR projects.

  • Experienced professionals seeking to reenter the workforce.

  • Participants with little or no knowledge of Finance who want to learn how to increase a company’s valuation

  • Young students eager to learn.
